Daniel Ivan - Trumpet

Born in Lugoj, Timis County. Attended the courses of George Enescu Music High School Bucharest at trumpet class. Continued studies at the national University of Music Bucharest, the Faculty of Interpretation, trumpet class of professor Iancu Vaduva. Has obtained the I-st Prize at the Interpretation Contest in Timisoara and Ploiesti. Since 1998 is a member of the George Enescu Philarmonic Bucharest. As member of this orchestra has participated to tours in Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, playing with soloists like: Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Dan Grigore, Radu Lupu, Silvia Marcovici, etc. and under conductors like: Ghenadi Rojdensvenski, Erich Bergel, Eugenne Khon, Cristian Mandeal, Seiji Ozawa, etc. Is a founding member of the Romanian Brass Ensemble.
