Laurenţiu Sima - Tuba

Born in 1977 at Pitesti, he studied tuba within Military High School in Bucharest and then graduated the National Music University Bucharest. Between 1992 -1996 has obtained the I-st Prize at the national Tuba Contest. In 1988 became employee of Paul Constantinescu Philarmonic in Ploeisti, also colaborating with Craiova Philarmonic, Valcea and Giurgiu. At present is employee of George Enescu Philarmonic Bucharest. Is a memberof the Brass Quintet with which sustained many concerts and radio recordings. I a founding member of the Romanian brass Ensemble. Has participated to concert tours with G. Enescu Philarmonic in Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Greece, Austria, etc. playing beside great soloists and world conductors. Is a founding member of the Romanian Brass Ensemble.
