Stefan Simionescu - Trumpet
Born in a family of musicians in 1972 at Bucharest. After 4 years of piano study has studied trumpet at George Enescu High School Bucharest and graduated in 2000. Continued studies at the National Music University with class of professor Iancu Vaduva. During studies obtained a study scholarship at the Trumpet Academy in Bremen, the class of professor Otto Sauter. During studies sustained many recitals and tours with the orchestra of Bucharest in the country. Beginning with 1998 develops activity as trumpet player at George Enescu Philarmonic Bucharest taking part to prestigious tours in Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy playing beside soloists like Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Dan Grigore, Radu Lupu, Silvia Marcovici, as well under great conductors like Ghenadi Rojdensvenski, Erich Bergel, Eugenne Kohn, Cristian Mandeal, Seiji Ozawa. Is a founding member of the Romanian Brass Ensemble.
